​Stained Glass Associates was founded in 1958 by the late Robert J. Wysocki. In the summer of 1983 Michael A. Strickland began working as a draftsman for the company. Michael, only a high school student working after school and during summer break, began to learn all avenues of the stained glass craft under the guidance of Wysocki and his organization.While obtaining a degree at North Carolina State University, Michael continued refining his skills as a stained glass craftsman. Upon graduating Michael entered a fast paced management program with Burlington Industries for 5 years.
In October 1995, with the blessing of Wysocki, Michael founded Creative Glass. In January of 2005 Michael was blessed with the opportunity to purchase 50% of his mentors Studio which was now incorporated. In May 2009, Michael became the sole owner of Stained Glass Associates, Inc.
